One-handed catches with no glove, letting the ball travel to a soft hand.

Set up

Catcher in gear, no glove, throwing hand behind the back. Coach 3 m away with tennis balls.

You need: Catcher's gear, tennis balls

Steps

  1. Coach tosses one at a time
  2. Catch with the receiving hand only
  3. Let it travel, do not reach
  4. Ball aside, ready for the next
